Starveda Cancellation, Return & Refund Policy

At Starveda, your satisfaction is our priority. We strive to provide you with high-quality products and a seamless shopping experience. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help.

Please read our policy below regarding cancellations, returns, and refunds.

1. General Return Policy

We offer a 5-day return notification window from the date of delivery. If you wish to return a product, you must notify us within 5 days of receiving your order.

Eligibility Criteria for Returns:

To ensure a hassle-free return experience, please ensure the product meets the following conditions:

  • Unused & Pristine: The product must be unused, unaltered, and in its original, new condition (unless received defective or damaged).
  • Original Packaging: The product must be returned in its original packaging, including the box, price tags, and the original invoice.
  • Intact Identifiers: Serial numbers or UPC labels must be intact and untampered with.
  • Customer Damage: Products damaged or broken by the customer after delivery are not eligible for returns.
  • Delays: Products delivered later than the promised delivery schedule are eligible for return.

Please note: If a returned item is inspected and found ineligible for a refund, we will ship the product back to you with shipping charges.

2. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect product, please notify us within 48 hours of receipt.

How to Report:

  1. Email us at thestarveda@gmail.com.
  2. Include your order details and attach unpacking video without edits and clear photographs of the damage, defect, or incorrect item.
  3. Keep the item in its original packaging with all price tags and invoices intact.

Once we receive and inspect the item to verify the issue, we will issue a full* refund or send a replacement, subject to stock availability.


3. Category-Specific Return Policies

Different product categories have specific return conditions:

Nutrition

Must be returned completely sealed in its original packaging. Opened or used boxes/tubs will not be accepted. Personal factors such as flavor preferences, stomach upset, or headaches do not qualify for a return. We highly recommend consulting a doctor before purchasing.

Merchandise

Returns or exchanges are accepted only in cases of sizing issues or if the product arrives damaged.

Services

All services purchased through Starveda are non-refundable.

4. How to Arrange a Return (Pickup & Shipping)

To return an item, please contact us at thestarveda@gmail.com to initiate the request.

  • Reverse Pickup: Wherever possible, we will arrange a reverse pickup through our logistics partners. A representative will contact you to explain the pickup process.
  • Self-Shipping: If reverse pickup is unavailable in your pin code, you will need to ship the product back to us via a reliable third-party courier. Upon receipt, we will reimburse your courier expenses up to a maximum of ₹100.

5. Return & Replacement Fees

  • No-Fee Returns: If Starveda makes an error (such as shipping an incorrect flavor, size, or product), no processing fees will apply.
  • Customer-Initiated Changes: If you request a replacement or return due to personal preferences (e.g., requesting a change of flavor, variant, or product), a processing fee may apply. The exact fee will be communicated to you when you initiate the request and must be cleared before the replacement is shipped.

6. Refunds & Replacement Timelines

Refund Methods:

  • Card Payments (Debit/Credit): Refunds will be credited back directly to the original bank account used during payment.
  • Cash on Delivery (COD) & Other Modes: Refunds will be processed via an online NEFT transfer. You must provide your bank details, and the transfer will be issued under the registered name of the customer.

Timelines:

  • Refunds: Once a refund is approved, the money will be credited to your account within 14 working days.
  • Replacements: Approved replacements will be processed and delivered to you within 14 working days of approval (subject to product availability).

7. Order Cancellation Policy

  • Before Dispatch: If you request a cancellation before your order is processed or approved by our warehouse, we will cancel the order and issue a full refund within 14 working days.
  • After Dispatch: We cannot cancel orders that have already been processed. Starveda reserves the sole right to decide whether an order has entered the processing stage.

8. Partial COD Order Refusal Policy



For orders placed using the Partial COD payment option, the advance amount paid at the time of placing the order shall be treated as a booking and processing fee.



In the event that the customer refuses to accept the order at the time of delivery, fails to receive the shipment despite multiple delivery attempts, provides an incorrect delivery address, or otherwise causes the order to be returned (RTO), a charge of ₹350 shall be deducted from the advance amount paid.



This ₹350 charge covers logistics, packaging, payment gateway, and operational expenses incurred by Starveda and shall be strictly non-refundable under all circumstances.



If the advance amount paid is equal to or less than ₹350, the entire advance amount shall be forfeited and no refund shall be issued

9. Payment Methods & Transaction Security

We offer a safe and transparent payment environment with zero hidden charges. The price displayed in your final cart is exactly what you pay.

  • Supported Payment Methods: Credit Cards, Debit Cards, UPI, Mobile Wallets, Netbanking, and Cash on Delivery (COD).
  • Security Standards: We do not store or handle your payment details. All digital transactions are routed through secure, PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway partners. For card and netbanking transactions, you will be securely redirected to your bank’s authentication page.
  • Note: Digital payment methods are highly recommended for faster order processing.

10. International Orders

Please note the following restrictions for orders delivered outside India:

  • Returns, replacements, and refunds are not applicable for international orders.
  • Cash on Delivery (COD) is not available for international shipping.
